18 dead bodies shifted to Jamrud levies fort






KHYBER AGENCY: Twenty mutilated bodies of militants were found in Khangai area in Akakhel of Bara tehsil,security forces sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that the twenty alleged militants had been killed in the search and clearance operation launched on July 18 in Akakhel.However, militants groups so far didn't owned the deceaseds persons.

The deceaseds had been killed during the military action against militants last week,the sources said.Security forces have launched major search and clearence operation after the growing militants' attacks on security forces and police in Peshawar and FR Kohat,an official requesting anonymity said.
A Khasadar official said that they were digging graves in Shah Kas for the dead persons as they were not able to identify.He said faces of all militants have burnt which could not be possible for them to clear their identities.

Several security forces contingents backed by gunship helicopters shelled Zawa tang,Khangai and other areas of Akakhel during the last one week operation,the official revealed.The official said that Khangai was the strong hold of militants wherefrom,according to sources, infiltrate to Peshawar,Kohat and other areas.During the search and clearence operation six security forces personnel had also been killed in clashes with militants in Bara,an official said.
The dead bodies were shifted to Levies fort in Jamrud Shah Kas for identification,the official added.
It may be added that eighteen bodies of civilian were found in Alamgudar area of Bara tehsil on 18 January this year whose bodies were brought to Governor house and protested against the killing of their relatives. On the other hand hundreds of other gunmen including women and children have been killed in conflicts between banned organizations and military operation against the militants during the ongoing tension in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency.
