For the first time lady searchers post at Torkham border

LANDIKOTAL: Frontier Corps for the first time posted lady searchers at Torkham border to thoroughly check travel documents of the Afghan nationals, official sources said on Wednesday.
A Frontier Corps(FC) told The News on the condition of anonymity that four lady searcher have been posted at two important checking points. He said two lady searchers were posted at main Torkham border while the other two were performing duty at Shaheed Mor, a kilometer from the Pak-Afghan border Torkham. The FC official said that they had directed the lady searchers to thoroughly check travel documents of all passengers coming from Afghanistan. He said it would help reduce security risks as Afghan female citizens used to enter Pakistan without valid travel documents.
Local residents appreciated the FC officials for the installation of lady searchers at the check posts said that it would reduce illegal cross border movement from and to Pakistan.
